“Leadership and Entrepreneurial Spirit”
Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) is a premier institution in the country imparting management education since 1992, particularly in the area of International Business, Agribusiness and Energy and Environment. 

SIIB believes that the young generation is a bank where we can deposit the most precious treasure and if maintained properly, it will ensure a successful future. SIIB provides its students, future leaders, a platform for interaction with current industry leaders through its flagship event - SIIB Leadership Series. 

SIIB Leadership series, a conclave held every year since 2002, cherishes and celebrates the spirit of leadership. This is the platform where some of the finest and most successful personalities of India inc. have shared their thoughts and inspired the young budding managers of SIIB.

The theme of SIIB Leadership series every year is always in sync with the existing management scenario in India and abroad. In order to succeed, we must first believe that we can and hence the theme in 2006 was “Dare to dream”. A dream is a dream till it is implemented and executed and that led to the theme of 2007 “From idea to action”. Success is not a destination but a journey and the theme of 2008 was “Journey to Success”. The theme for 2009 is “Leadership and Entrepreneurial Spirit” because in a competitive and changing world, “entrepreneurship” whether at corporate level or at an individual level is absolutely necessary for long term survival. The spirit of entrepreneurship includes imagination, inventiveness and openness to the new.
