TECHSPARKS 2011 HIGHLIGHTS
TechSparks™ 2011, the annual flagship event of YourStory.in, picked 20 finalist pitches from more than 400 registrations garnered by YourStory.in for TechSparks™ in about 3 months. Top 20 chosen pitched before an impressive jury consisting of Narendra Bhandari (Director, Intel Software and Services Group, Developer Relations, Asia-Pacific), Shailendra Singh (MD, Sequoia Capital India), Shane Owenby (Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Amazon Web Services), Mekin Maheshwari (President-Engineering, Flipkart.com), Rishi Dhand (Product Manager, Google), Jayaram Pillai (CEO, National Instruments) and Vikas Jain, co-founder, Micromax Mobile.
The jury’s individual choice of five best pitches from among the 20 was consolidated into a final list of winners. They include:
United Mobile Apps (mobile platform company engaged in providing seamless data communication across devices, regardless of manufacturer and operating system)
idea Device (end-to-end automation of data centre activities),
Capillary Technologies (customer engagement solutions to retailers and customer-facing businesses through customer data capture),
Mediology (digital publishing company providing end-to-end technology for media and publishing industry)
Reverie Language Technologies (enhancing mobile usability and user experience by incorporating vernacular languages).
